Alex Tabarrok and Zappos FTW!!!!! Check out this ridiculously fun real-time map of Zappos shoe sales. I am sure that this has some massively important implications for social networking, fashion trends, and so on, but it’s also just.darn.cool.
When I saw the post at MR, I thought, “If Lynne sees this site her productivity will take a sharp nosedive.”
You weren’t kidding! I sat and stared at the thing for a good 10 minutes, gape-mouthed in amazement.
Interestingly, while I was watching the modal shoe purchase was the Converse Chuck Taylor.
