Welcome to Peter Klein and Nicolai Foss, authors of Organizations and Markets. Looks to be a very interesting read; I have known Peter for a while and enjoyed his work. Peter has a post on market-based management today inspired by the WSJ profile of Charles Koch over the weekend, and citing the seminal Jensen and Meckling work on the subject. I particularly like this quote:
In short, all organizations represent a blend of market and hierarchy. The trick is to find the appropriate mix.
