Katherine Mangu-Ward’s musings on Arnold Schwarzenegger and “flip-flopping” reminded me of one of my favorite quotes, from John Maynard Keynes:
When the facts change, I change my mind. What do you do, sir?

Point taken. But if one is changing one’s mind quite often you start to wonder about the quality of their observations: in mosr cases, fundamental facts don’t chanhr that fast.
