There is no way of knowing the risk of dying from terrorism in the future–and if we take too much comfort in the historical risk and become complacent, the future risk could be much higher, particularly if state-sponsored terrorists are able to deploy weapons of mass destruction. A successful EMP attack on the United States, for example, could destroy critical infrastructure, potentially killing millions. No terrorists have yet demonstrated the ability to acquire and field such a weapon–but they may only have to do so once.

How about we stop pissing everybody off and start making it a better world for all..instead of just perpetually increasing FEAR and war mongering
