I am pleased to announce my new-and-improved Northwestern faculty web page, designed by NU student Lauren Holliday. This page will have syllabi for my classes, copies of working papers, and other such things.
I love the clean, elegant design that Lauren created. Unbeknownst to her, in developing the graphics for it she hit on a theme that is actually very near and dear to my heart on multiple levels — personal, historical, technological, and architectural. Yet another datum to add to Virgina’s and Grant’s work on the extent to which design and esthetics create great value.
